Butte County is excellent wine country, and many award-winning wines come from the wineries you’ll find here. A tour is a great way to explore and taste the local flavors!

The Northern Tour

The Northern takes you to Vina to visit New Clairvaux Vineyard and the magnificent 800 year old stone monastery amid acres of vineyard. The monks who reside there labor to produce award-winning wines; absolutely stunning! Then through the gentle hills north of Chico to visit long-established and family owned Odyssey Vineyards. The grounds are beautiful and the facilities are artsy enough to compete with a museum!

The Eastern Tour

This tour takes you to the foothills to visit La Rocca Winery, a unique blend of modern and old world. Only organic, non-sulfite wines are produced here. An enjoyable place with great wines, and wonderful canyon and valley views there and back! Then to Bertagna’s Son-Kissed vineyards just south of Chico. The Southern Tour

Surrounding the Oroville area are three jewels: Grey Fox Winery, Long Creek Winery, and Quilici Vineyards, all of which produce award-winning wines and provide great picnic facilities. Enough can’t be said about the quality these vintners produce and the beauty of the region. Choose two for the package deal or add some time and visit all three!

We can cater your picnic if desired. We associate with a highly rated, locally established and reputable deli and proudly offer a choice of the following trays:

• Salami and 3 different cheeses
• “Relish” dish, including marinated mushrooms, artichoke hearts, peppers and 3 types of olives
• Veggies dish with creamy ranch dip
• Tour with party tray for $244.

With a sandwich builder tray, you can enjoy ham, turkey and roast beef with 3 choices of cheese and all the fixings. $175 tour plus $10 per person food.

We can, of course, visit your desired winery destination if we’ve neglected to list it on our own package tours…but as a charter business, we can do anything the client desires. SONOMA, NAPA, GRASS VALLEY - LET’S GO!

Details
Most wineries charge a nominal tasting fee, usually waived if purchasing a bottle. This is the individual’s choice. A giant ice chest and tailgate attachment is available upon request, at no extra cost. Wine tours depart/arrive in Chico, 4 hours total, with approximately 1 ½ hours travel time. Additional service is available at $50/hour. Custom trips also available at regular rates. Clientele is required to enjoy themselves freely and have a great time!
